After two years, the Hartford HealthCare Tallwood Urology & Kidney Institute and ZERO Prostate will partner to offer another walk/run to raise money to fund increased education about prostate cancer for men and their families, free prostate screening tests and research for more treatments. Providers at Tallwood treat more cases of prostate cancer each year than any other facility in the state. The disease, one of the most treatable when detected early, is diagnosed in more than 260,000 new cases each year. This year’s ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk, the first in-person event since the COVID-19 pandemic began, will step off for a 5K run/walk from Dunkin’ Donuts Park on Main Street in Hartford at 9 a.m. on Sunday, June 12.
