New Name, New Logo, Same Mission

New Name, New Logo, Same Mission

ZERO began 27 years ago as the National Prostate Cancer Coalition (NPCC). Since then, both our organization and cause have evolved. In 2008, we became ZERO — The Project to End Prostate Cancer, and later ZERO — The End of Prostate Cancer. Now, we are excited to announce a new name, ZERO Prostate Cancer.

"I'm excited to share that our name has changed to ZERO Prostate Cancer. Three simple words, but one extremely powerful message. With our new shortened name, we have a bold goal to become a household name to reach more patients and families in need. While our name has changed, our mission remains the same: to ZERO out prostate cancer once and for all." —ZERO President & CEO, Jamie Bearse.

2023 Summit Success

2023 Summit Success

Thank you to everyone who made our 2023 ZERO Prostate Cancer Summit a success—from the hundreds of in-person attendees to the thousands of virtual participants, we were thrilled to come together with our amazing supporters and sponsors. Our expert speakers, electric crowd, and advocates who went to Capitol Hill made 2023 a year to remember!

Darik was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer at age 48 and found community and a network of support through ZERO and as an attendee of the Summit.

"With you, we can get to ZERO Prostate Cancer. Your generosity puts resources directly into the care, community, and support patients like me need during our battle. Thank you." —Darik

If you weren't able to attend, the full Summit sessions are just a click away.

Mark your calendars for February 25-27, 2024, for next year's Summit.

Help Provide Care for Prostate Cancer Patients

Help Provide Care for Prostate Cancer Patients

In honor of ZERO President and CEO Jamie Bearse's leadership and the significant progress he has led to support patients and families, ZERO has established the Jamie Bearse Patient Emergency Fund. This new fund will provide prostate cancer patients in desperate need with critical, life-saving support.

ZERO360, the only comprehensive prostate cancer support program in the country, exists to ensure no patients are fighting alone. With diagnoses expected to rise this year, the need for funding ZERO360 is greater than ever. In 2023, more patients are experiencing unacceptable financial and emotional barriers to care and red tape from their insurance companies.

You can be part of the solution to help patients in need and honor Jamie Bearse's legacy with a gift today.

PCRP: We're Recruiting

Want to make a difference in prostate cancer research?
We are currently recruiting Consumer Reviewers for the Prostate Cancer Research Program (PCRP)! As a Consumer Reviewer, you will have an important role in how the PCRP reviews grant applications. Each year, ZERO nominates a group of patients and survivors to serve as Consumer Reviewers who lend their experiences to the program. To learn more about the requirements and responsibilities, click here. To hear from some current PCRP Consumer Reviewers, check out this video from the 2022 Summit. If you are interested in being nominated and having a real impact on the research being conducted for prostate cancer, please email advocacy@zerocancer.org.

It's federal appropriations season! Right now, a letter is circulating Congress in support of the Prostate Cancer Research Program, the single most successful research program for this disease, yielding numerous new treatments and diagnostics for advanced-stage prostate cancer. It is vital that we get the support we need to protect and grow federal investment into important research that saves men's lives.
