Just in Time for our Spring Season: Introducing our Brand New Run/Walk Website!
We are thrilled to announce that registration is now open for all of our Spring Run/Walk events on our brand NEW Run/Walk website! You can now register for events in Hartford, Chicago, Salt Lake City, Portland, Washington, DC, Atlanta, Syracuse, and Los Angeles/Long Beach.
For the past 10 years, the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk has rallied communities and given each and every participant a voice in the fight to end prostate cancer. In 2016, the series will visit nearly 40 cities, bringing the fight to end prostate cancer and the need to make the disease a national priority to cities from Portland to Miami and many in between.
With the goal of protecting that funding top of mind, more than 100 advocates from 40 different states joined us in DC last month for our 2016 ZERO Prostate Cancer Summit! During our action-packed week we stormed the Hill for more than 100 meetings to educate elected officials about prostate cancer research and our fight for funding the Prostate Cancer Research Program at $90M, heard updates from our Medical Advisory Board, and held breakout sessions on topics ranging from managing cancer costs to having meaningful conversations with your doctor.
Patient Co-Pay Assistance Program Helps More Than 40,000 Men
The financial impact of a prostate cancer diagnosis is often a major source of stress and anxiety for men and families.
That’s where ZERO and the PAN Foundation come in. Since our partnership began in late 2013, the Patient Co-Pay Assistance Program for men with metastatic prostate cancer has provided more than $150M in co-pay assistance to more than 42,000 men nationwide. We’re proud to give the gift of precious time to men and their families who are fighting prostate cancer every day.
You Can Make a Difference
In 2016, it is estimated that 180,890 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer. Each and every one of them deserves a fighting chance against a disease that is the second leading cause of cancer death in men. You can make a difference today by helping to fund important educational materials and much needed patient programs. In the fight to end prostate cancer, every donation is vital!
