Communities Across the U.S. Unite to End Prostate Cancer
|

In 2016, the ZERO Run/Walk series celebrates 10 years of raising awareness and funds to end prostate cancer, a disease that will affect more than 180,000 American men this year alone. In partnership with local urology practices and oncology centers, we’re bringing family-friendly events and lifesaving awareness to nearly 40 cities across the U.S., from Washington, D.C. to Los Angeles.
In addition to a brand new website that makes registering and fundraising easier than ever, ZERO welcomes back Nashville recording artist and American Idol contestant Jimmy Charles, a ZERO spokesman. Jimmy will be in attendance at several of the run/walks to perform his hit song “Superman,” an anthem dedicated to cancer patients and survivors.
The Run/Walk series hopes to raise more than $3M to provide prostate cancer resources and support for local men and families across the nation through our new regional chapters. Funds also support national efforts to provide research for new treatments, patient support resources, and to educate men about prostate cancer. Learn more and find a race near you.

FREE Webinar: Genomic Testing and Demystifying Your Diagnosis
|
Trying to understand all available treatment options after receiving a prostate cancer diagnosis can be mind-boggling. An unclear path forward can leave men susceptible to both over-treatment – with all of the unnecessary side effects – or under-treatment, which leaves the risk that the cancer will continue to grow. In many cases, genomic testing can help better define that path.
Join us for a webinar featuring Dr. Kelvin Moses from Vanderbilt Cancer Center and Monica Bryant from Triage Cancer that will help newly diagnosed men understand when, why, and how to receive genomic testing. This webinar will take place on May 16 at 4:00 p.m. ET and 1:00 p.m. PT.
Register here. All attendees will be emailed a recording after the event. |
