When her husband, a former Air Force Master Sergeant, began work at the Pentagon in August 2014, Tineke knew she wanted to make a difference in her new home, this time in the fight to end prostate cancer. After serving in the Development department at The Methodist Children’s Home South Georgia and in various nonprofit roles for more than 27 years, Tineke found her perfect match in ZERO. With family and friends battling prostate cancer, she fights to see the end of the disease.
Tineke has a creative streak a mile wide. She makes her own greeting and holiday cards and is rarely found without a book in her to-read pile. A theatre buff and lover of all things history, Tineke can usually be found traveling with her husband and exploring historic landmarks.
