Liz Herbers

Director, Fundraising
ZERO Prostate Cancer
Woman with long blond hair and black blazer, Liz Herbers

Liz has proven to have plenty of demonstrated success in fundraising throughout her career, which is why she was chosen to be ZERO’s Director of Fundraising & Donor Campaigns.  Liz earned her Bachelor of Business Administration and Marketing degree from the University of Cincinnati. She would also go on to earn her MBA and Marketing Research Graduate certificate from there as well. Liz loved her time at her alma mater so much that she eventually went back to develop her career in fundraising. While in her previous role as the Director of Annual Giving at the University of Cincinnati Foundation, Liz implemented new approaches to direct marketing and development initiatives, contributing to her team’s effort to fundraise over five million dollars per year. Since she can keep a cool head under pressure, it was a no-brainer to have her lead ZERO’s fundraising efforts.

Given her personal connection to prostate cancer, Liz is excited to join ZERO because she truly resonates with the mission to end the disease. She’s excited to have the opportunity to create a more significant impact on prostate cancer patients and their caregivers by connecting generous donors with this important cause.

In her free time, Liz enjoys spending time with her husband and their cat, Weasley. In addition, she loves to get lost in a new book, true crime podcast, or the latest pop culture gossip. Traveling is also very near and dear to Liz’s heart. A Cincinnatian through and through, Liz loves discovering new parts of her own city whenever she can.
