Kate DeLucia Director, Run/Walk ZERO Prostate Cancer We present to you ZERO’s superhero for all things related to our Run/Walks! Kate hails from Connecticut, but currently calls Florida home. She has an impressive background in event management within the nonprofit sector, including previous roles at Easterseals Florida, Arthritis Foundation, and American Cancer Society. Through her previous nonprofit experiences, Kate has witnessed the effect that cancer can have on families. She is passionate about the cause because she knows that cancer does not discriminate and can affect anyone, and she wants to be able to help in any way she can to end the disease. Additionally, Kate believes that making community connections and having impactful conversations is imperative in the fight to end prostate cancer. Events both in-person and virtual are critical ways to help our community know they are not alone.Kate earned her B.S. in Sports Management from Springfield College in Massachusetts. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to new places, spending time with family and friends at the beach, and taking her mini-Schnauzer to new trails and the dog park.
