Josh Woods

Josh has been a nonprofit enthusiast since the humble age of four. He has participated in several charity fundraisers over the years, and even helped to bring some events to his college campus. A recipient of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN) of Atlanta’s 30 Under 30 Award, Josh has received local and national recognition for his event and fundraising endeavors at previous nonprofit organizations.

As our Eastern Chapters Regional Director, Josh is focused on relationship building and supporting the prostate cancer community. With a personal connection to the disease through multiple men in his family, Josh joined ZERO to help further advance promoting the importance of prostate cancer testing within the Black community, as well as finding a cure.

A Chicago native, Josh is a former collegiate athlete, competing at Troy University for football and Kennesaw State University in track and field. He earned a B.S. in Exercise and Health Science and a B.S. in Psychology from Kennesaw State, and is currently a member of YNPN and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. For fun, Josh enjoys trying out new foods and recipes, playing football, traveling, building model cars/airplanes, and catching up on old movies. Occasionally, you may be lucky enough to catch him singing some pop or country karaoke. Click here to connect with Josh to learn all things happening in the southeast region.
