Hal Berger

Coordinator, Government Relations
ZERO Prostate Cancer
Young man in a suit and tie, standing next to a brick wall, Hal Berger

Hal joins the ZERO team from Washington, DC as our Government Relations and Advocacy Coordinator. In this role, he makes a daily impact through advocacy efforts on the state and federal levels alongside recruiting and managing advocates. After interning on Capitol Hill, Hal was excited to move his career into the government relations sector.

Like many of us at ZERO, Hal’s connection to the cause runs deep. He attributes his love of photography and all things history to his late grandfather, who lost his battle with prostate cancer. Hal has seen firsthand the pain of losing a loved one to the disease and is committed to preventing other families from going through the same thing.

When he’s not parachuting out of planes, Hal enjoys traveling and building anything he can get his hands on. This Atlanta, GA native is a dog dad to his sweet rescue, Annie, and also enjoys volunteering at a local animal rescue (he does it all!). To connect with Hal about becoming a ZERO advocate, or to hear about his time living in Norway, send him a note at hal@zerocancer.org.
