Emily is passionate about events and fundraising, but most of all she is passionate about helping others and making a difference. Starting out in UMOM New Day Centers – the largest family homeless shelter in Arizona – and the Morris Animal Foundation, Emily has spent her entire career in the nonprofit arena. Prior to joining ZERO, she served as the Manager of the Upper Midwest Walk program at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. With these experiences, she’s plugged in to all things Midwest, from Run/Walks to community health fairs and everything in between.
It was her meeting with the ZERO staff that drew her to ZERO’s Central & Western Chapters Regional Director position. She found the team’s tireless dedication to helping those impacted by prostate cancer both inspiring and contagious. Learning the disease impacts so many men and families in her local community and throughout the Midwest, she knew this was her next mission to help others.
Emily is a great listener and loves to build long-lasting relationships with patients, families, donors, and sponsors alike. She is consummate team player who thrives on encouraging others and being a cheerleader. Whether you need patient resources, want to tell your story, or are interested in fundraising, Emily can help you connect with ZERO’s growing community in the Midwest.
When she’s not traveling the Midwest region connecting with patients and their families, you can find her in the great outdoors likely fishing, camping, and enjoying her Minnesota surroundings. Want to join the ZERO community? Reach out and share your story.
