This year more than 22,210 men in California, Utah, Oregon, and Washington will be diagnosed with prostate cancer and an estimated 4,850 men are expected to die from the disease.
To spearhead the boots on the ground effort on the West Coast, West Coast Chapter Director Vanessa Petersen will expand efforts to support men and families in their own backyards by providing patient-centric programs in addition to our Run/Walk events. The West Coast Chapter joins ZERO’s growing base of regional chapters in Texas, the Midwest, and the Mid-Atlantic.
If you’re in California, Utah, Oregon, or Washington and want to get more involved in prostate cancer, a disease that affects one in nine American men, contact Vanessa!
