ZERO is pleased to be a member of the International Prostate Cancer Coalition which, with the support of Bayer Healthcare, conducted a survey to examine the perspectives of men living with advanced prostate cancer and their caregivers to understand how they interpret the symptoms of advancing disease.
The results of the Global Prostate Cancer Symptoms Survey revealed that many men choose to ignore or downplay the symptoms they experience as their prostate cancer advances and nearly 70 percent admitted to sometimes ignoring symptoms like pain.
Using these survey results, the Men Who Speak Up Campaign was developed to encourage patients to speak honestly with their doctors and caregivers about their symptoms and pain. Visit MenWhoSpeakUp.com to learn more and find valuable resources, such as a downloadable Symptoms Tracker, to help you prepare for upcoming appointments.
