Jon was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. He moved to California in the early 1980’s
Jon had a successful career in the real estate and Title Insurance industry. He built his reputation on the ability to build and manage business for national companies and their affiliates. As a Regional Sales Manager, Sr. VP Western Region Sales Manager and Sr. VP Operations Manager. He was especially proud to graduate in the second class as Certified 1031 Exchange Specialist thru the Federation of Exchange Specialists.
Jon is a ten-year survivor of prostate cancer while fighting recurrence and metastasis cancer. He stepped away from his successful career in late December 2016 to focus on his health and family. Over the last 3-4 years Jon has also given back by volunteering as a Peer Navigator at UC Davis for men diagnosed with prostate cancer. He also helped in UC Davis Cancer Center in their resource center helping and encouraging cancer patients dealing with all types of cancer. He also just finished Triumph Foundation’s Fitness program after completing recent cancer treatments.
Three years ago, Jon wanted to continue his passion of serving cancer patients by developing the presentation for today. He found that in speaking with other cancer patients and more importantly no matter what type of cancer you have most of us go through an emotional rollercoaster. He felt it was imperative to have a conversation from a survivor’s perspective vs. professional or clinical perspective.
