Ian Mair’s wish is to help people facing a prostate cancer diagnosis to understand potential treatment decisions and not be afraid. It is his own hysterical account presented in a funny, easy to read book.
Prostate cancer did not run in Ian’s family, until his older brother called one day in 2007 to say he had it. Ian remembers his words so clearly, “You now have family history. Go get checked!” Ian had already established his baseline PSA from testing every five years beginning at age 50. Thus began Ian’s journey.
