Caesar Blevins is a co-founder of and the Vice-Chairman of the Prostate Network and a Stage IV prostate cancer patient.
“I knew something was wrong.” Those were the last words Caesar Blevins’s mother spoke before slipping back into a coma from which she’d never wake up.
She was correct; everything wasn’t alright. Caesar had stage IV prostate cancer. His doctor told him he wouldn’t live more than a couple years.
Even in his grief over losing his mother, Caesar found comfort in his unshakable faith, remaining family that loved him, and a community of patients, caregivers, and survivors.
But love and support alone wouldn’t stop the stage IV cancer that was growing inside him. Caesar needed a medical breakthrough.
Thankfully, researchers discovered treatments that extended Caesar’s life. Eight years later, Caesar isn’t just surviving, he’s thriving. He’s here for his beautiful two granddaughters, and has never missed a day of work. Caesar is a true ZERO Champion!
