How ZERO Helps You

ZERO’s Summit has begun! It kicked off with Mark Moyad joining us as our keynote speaker, we celebrated our top fundraisers and ZERO champions at the Bold for Blue Awards, and we also shared a great segment on “How ZERO Helps You”. Jamie Bearse, Shelby Moneer, Ali Manson, and Robert Ginyard got together to explain ZERO’s great programs and resources that can guide men and their families facing a prostate cancer diagnosis.

Four people on Virtual for Zero Prostate Cancer Summit

Here is a brief summary of the ZERO programs discussed during the session so that you can decide what works best for you and your family!

  • ZERO360, our comprehensive patient support program, where you can speak with a trained ZERO360 Case Manager who will help you navigate financial issues, insurance issues, and  important mental health and emotional support navigation.
  • ZERO’s MENtor program and a Caregiver MENtor program, where we train our amazing volunteers and match you with a MENtor who can help you navigate through you or your loved one’s diagnosis. We make these matches based on different experiences, preferences, topics you want to discuss, even the city or state you live in so we can truly help you connect with someone who has gone through something similar.
  • ZERO Connect Facebook group, where you can connect with more than 2,700 people from across the country and the world who are eager to be a sounding board, answer your questions, provide input, and share experiences with you.
  • ZERO Champions, our strong network of cause-driven leaders who actively encourage nationwide legislative policies that can lead to more research into treatments and diagnostics for prostate cancer, better access to care, and more equitable outcomes.
  • Webinars and podcasts on our website that cover difficult-to-discuss topics like how to maintain a sex life after prostate cancer and how to navigate insurance issues.
  • Regular Run/Walks across the country that bring communities together against the fight.

For even further resources, our website zerocancer.org has blogs, prostate cancer news updates, treatment information, and so much more all at your fingertips!

You can check it all out by watching the full Summit session “How ZERO Helps You”.
