The Summit to End Prostate Cancer is the premier legislative conference focused on issues facing prostate cancer patients, survivors and their families. The event includes a Congressional reception, discussions with key legislators, legislative staff and other government decision makers, and networking opportunities with prostate cancer advocates from around the country and other key leaders in the advocacy world. ZERO staff offer training in grassroots advocacy, legislative process, fundraising and communications at the Summit.
Local Advocacy Training
"The Summit to End Prostate Cancer represents an annual opportunity during Prostate Cancer Awareness Month for supporters nationwide to gather in Washington, D.C. to speak up about prostate cancer and raise awareness of the importance of federal funding and other issues to help us achieve our goal of zero prostate cancer," said ZERO's CEO Skip Lockwood.

Local advocacy training offers more specific information about State level issues and legislation, your State’s legislative calendar, and personalized training to recruit advocates and advocate leaders.
Learn about State laws and proposed legislation, awareness and education tools already offered or that should be offered in your State, and opportunities to attract others to the fight against prostate cancer.
The prostate cancer advocacy community needs passionate supporters like yourself to advance the cause from neighborhood to neighborhood, town to town, city to city, state to state and across the nation. Without support from dedicated individuals, funding for research, awareness amongst men and access to care will slide and diminish our ability to find a cure to this devastating disease.
