Know Your Score

ZERO — The Project to End Prostate Cancer and Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday hit the links every year with a host of celebrities to end prostate cancer. Know Your Score Celebrity Golf Tournament and Gala has raised more than $75,000 for prostate cancer testing and research since 2008.

The Fifth Annual Know Your Score event is scheduled for August 2012. Stay tuned for the date. Mitch Laurance, ZERO Board member and ESPN commentator, hosts a star-studded event that has included past celebrities like Jim Boeheim, Sterling Sharpe, Craig T. Nelson, Ken Griffey Sr. and Branford Marsalis.

Race Cars

One Lap for Life

ZERO Board member Robin Sparrow competes each year in One Lap of America, the real life Cannonball Run where drivers race around certified tracks in cities and towns across America covering more than 2,500 miles in a week. Nearly $250,000 has been raised for the One Lap for Life event through sponsorships and donations.

ZERO to 60

Ride into the dusty desert plains to end Prostate cancer as ZERO partners with Wide Open Adventures to raise money for prostate cancer testing by taking participants on a race through the deserts of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula.

From pine forests to lush desert canyons, it’s an adrenaline charged adventure and performance driving that creates epic memories and life-changing stories. While you’re at it, funds raised go toward saving lives through early detection.

Summit

Summit to End Prostate Cancer

The Summit to End Prostate Cancer is the premier legislative conference focused on issues facing prostate cancer patients, survivors and their families. The event includes a Congressional reception, discussions with key legislators, legislative staff and other government decision makers, and networking opportunities with prostate cancer advocates from around the country and other key leaders in the advocacy world. ZERO staff offer training in grassroots advocacy, legislative process, fundraising and communications at the Summit.

The 2012 Summit will take place September 11-12. On September 13, attendees will have an opportunity to meet with their Congressman and Senators. Please plan to join us.

Pony Up for Prostate Cancer

Taking place in Virginia horse country, Pony Up for Prostate Cancer is a polo event that unites patients, horse-lovers and polo enthusiasts to end prostate cancer. The event has raised more than $20,000 in the past two years and aims to expand in size.

Bike

Tour de Blue: Cycling for Prostate Cancer Awareness

The Tour de Blue is a bicycle ride that benefits the Urology Health Foundation and the important work they do against prostate cancer in Alabama. The 2012 event will take place on Saturday, April 28, 2012, 8:00 am at the Birmingham Bicycle Company.
